I came across Elena Godina's artwork and her character illustrations are delightful. I asked her if she would allow me to animate them, and she kindly accepted. I chose the funny tongue illustration.
I want to express my sincere gratitude to Elena for her fantastic illustration. I had a great time exploring and animating Mr. Tongue, and I am very pleased with the final result.

I selected this illustration because I wanted to embrace some enjoyable challenges. I visualized Mr. Tongue with a semi-rigid body, wherein certain areas would have a wiggling effect, while the face and chest would remain relatively stiff. The nearly 3/4 perspective, along with the use of strokes, invariably contributes complexity to the artwork.
